Villa Almuñécar, 8 bedrooms, 16 persons - API-1-53-15008

Situated on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, the villa is located in Taramay, near to the traditionally Spanish town of Almunecar. The house retains a high level of privacy whilst being within walking distance of beaches and shops approx 25 minutes walk down to the nearest beach or just a few minutes by car. The pretty village of La Herradura is 10 minutes drive away.

Entering the villa by the front door there is a spacious hallway with cloakroom to the side. Follow the steps down to the enormous open plan living area where there is a grand glass topped dining table large enough to seat 14 people. Behind this is the huge lounge area with masses of seating on either the big comfy sofa or chaise longues where you can spend the evening chatting to friends, watching television on the large screen or listening to music.

The kitchen is large with a double oven, two fridge freezers, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and everything else you could possibly need. From here there are double doors which lead out to the first of many terraces where you can spend the day in the sunshine or shading yourself from the hot sun.

Also from the hallway there are steps up to the Master bedroom which has a large 1.80 metre bed, en-suite full bathroom, and walk in wardrobe. From this bedroom is the incredible roof terrace which again has an array of comfortable seating, either in a wrap around sofa, or sunbeds. The views from the terrace are incredible, reaching across Almunecar on one side or to Salobrena and Motril on the other side. Stairs from this terrace also lead back to the kitchen terrace so the trip for more refreshments is only a few steps away!

Returning to the front door, and down to the left are the other three double bedrooms and one twin together with two large wet rooms. Two of the double bedrooms have doors leading out to yet another large terrace and eating area overlooking the swimming pool and the other double bedroom has a door going down into the garden.

From the dining area there are steps leading to the Bodega (wine cellar) and then on to two further double bedrooms both with patio doors leading to the gardens, a twin room and two shower rooms..

The gardens have been beautifully laid out with plenty of lawn area leading to a very large swimming pool (heated as an optional extra from October - April) together with separate heated jacuzzi, ponds and many steps leading back round to the front door. There is parking for 3 cars in the driveway and the house has secure gates.

When it is time to dine, spoil yourself in the BBQ area that will meet your very need with a state of the art gas BBQ, sink and kitchen area. Afterwards, relax and enjoy the spectacular Spanish sunset in the jacuzzi with a glass of champagne.
