From its location on the hillside above the old town of Jávea, it is difficult to imagine that such a beautiful and peaceful hideaway is just a ten-minute walk from the boutiques, cafés, tapas bars and bustling markets of the city's historic centre. All perfect for exploring on foot!

What we love... the feeling of Aladdin's Cave of the place, which reflects the bohemian spirit of barefoot travellers. The interior walls are flooded with jewel-coloured paint, artworks with bright frames and interesting artefacts collected by the owner during his travels around the world. Shelves filled with books pay homage to an eclectic variety of authors and poets, and a comfortable sofa area in the lounge provides the perfect place to read or sit and converse with other guests.

Conveniently distributed on a floor, the rooms are spacious, luxurious and cosy, all at the same time. The family bathroom is exquisitely decorated with arabesque mosaics (a nod to the Alhambra in Granada), making it the perfect setting for a candlelit bath, with an elegant drinks station, beautiful glass ornaments that reflect the light and an Indian wooden mirror. The main bathroom should not be overlooked, offering an impressive floor-level shower, iridescent mosaics and a stone washbasin inlaid with fossils.
