La Golondrina, which means "the swallow" in Spanish, is a nature lovers' sanctuary blessed with perfumed flower air, lush foliage and dreamy corners to rest and relax. What we love... the feeling of Aladdin's Cave of the place, which reflects the bohemian spirit of barefoot travellers. The interior walls are flooded with jewel-coloured paint, artworks with bright frames and interesting artefacts collected by the owner during his travels around the world. Shelves filled with books pay homage to an eclectic variety of authors and poets, and a comfortable sofa area in the lounge provides the perfect place to read or sit and converse with other guests.

Conveniently distributed on a floor, the rooms are spacious, luxurious and cosy, all at the same time. The family bathroom is exquisitely decorated with arabesque mosaics (a nod to the Alhambra in Granada), making it the perfect setting for a candlelit bath, with an elegant drinks station, beautiful glass ornaments that reflect the light and an Indian wooden mirror. The main bathroom should not be overlooked, offering an impressive floor-level shower, iridescent mosaics and a stone washbasin inlaid with fossils. Or the adjacent room with a carved wooden headboard, relaxing colour combination and private access to the terrace next to the pool.

Advice JH: The Golondrina is located just opposite Villa Levante and only 100 metres from Casa Alba. If you're coming with family, booking two or all of them could be a good option!

This rule does not apply to families travelling with children or younger people accompanied by adults who are also staying in the property. If you do not comply with this requirement and confirm the booking, you will be denied entry to the establishment upon arrival and will lose all right to a refund.
