Located in the quiet village of Lajares, in the municipality of La Oliva, to the north of Fuerteventura.







This small and traditional Majorero town has 500 inhabitants and is surrounded by crop fields separated with stone walls, real windmills, extensive plains and desert landscapes.







Lajares is also known for the craftsmanship, the embroidery and the lace knitting.









Two cycle paths start in the town of Pajares. That’s ideal to enjoy a trip in total safety.







The village of Lajares is only some minutes’ walk from the town and offers some services such as a supermarket, bars and restaurants. There is also a playground.







Only 10 minutes by car you can get lost in El Cotillo, an area of extensive desert beaches, the perfect spot for the practice of water activities such as surfing and underwater fishing.







It is also worth mentioning the Natural Park of Las Dunas de Corralejo and Isla de Lobos both with magnificent beaches of golden sand and turquoise water at only 17 km from Villa Filale.
