This is simply a stunning property in every sense of the word. It is truly an ecological house that is built with recycled materials that show you can incorporate the past with the present and create a thing of beauty and practicality. And the great news is we are adding an 8m by 4m pool for this summer so not only will you find yourself in a stunningly beautiful part of the world with fabulous mountain and sea-views, but you will also be able to swim among the olive groves surrounded by trees. The magic begins on the covered terrace on a moonlight night for example, where you have a system of subtle lights in the roof canopy that discreetly lights the barbecue and outside dining area for an al fresco eating experience. The house has two separate entrances. One leads to the bedroom on the ground floor while the other leads you into this most beautiful kitchen with a host of decorative features integrated into the design. There is a dining table here, usually used for breakfast. Also on the ground floor you have the first of three separate lounge and chill-out spaces. It is located in front of the solid wood burner that also powers the central heating system. Down a long and elegant corridor with a floor made from the most beautiful hydraulic tiles salvaged from an old apartment in Barcelona, you have an Avant-garde bathroom in blue with a wonderful, walk-in shower unit. And as this is an ecological house and wasting water is truly not right for mother earth, there is a simple switch you flick that circulates the hot water so that 60 seconds later, hot water comes out of the shower head and you don’t waste water waiting for it to become hot. Ingenious. On the second floor you have a great entertainment zone, a mezzanine lounge area that nestles under the roof, .. the TV cleverly hidden in a diptych artwork when not in use. On this floor we have two more double bedrooms, both beautifully furnished in timeless antique furniture. The two bedrooms share another avant-garde bathroom with a separate WC closet. But the absolute joy of this fabulous property is on the third floor where you have this conservatory with its own shaded balcony with vistas of the mountain ranges all around and the glisten of the blue Mediterranean in the distance. Mas del Ginjol is an ecological, sustainable and self-sufficient house powered by solar panels and a water reservoir. Therefore, it must be emphasised that consumption habits must be adapted to make them coincide with the hours of sunshine. Mas del Ginjol is equipped with appliances suitable for a self-sufficient home. It should be mentioned that no charging electric cars is allowed although there is a high-speed charging point in the village of L’Ampolla just 15km away.
