Holidays at Benicarlo

Benicarlo

Benicarlo, this former fishing and farming village, has evolved over the years to offer a wide range of activities and tourist rentals. Although larger than its neighbor, Peniscola, the town of Benicarlo has long lived in the shadow of the papal city from a tourist perspective.

In recent years, the development of the marina, the 7 kilometers of sandy beach, and the promenade that stretches from Peniscola to Benicarlo have contributed to the tourism development of this lively Spanish village.

Throughout the year, Benicarlo comes alive with numerous festivals, including the patron saint festivals that start in the second half of August, featuring concerts, dances, fireworks, children's games, and more adventurous events with bulls and heifers, as well as the Moros and Christianos processions. As a sign of their dynamism, Peniscola and Benicarlo have organized an international regatta for the past 2 years. Depending on the time of year, you can also enjoy culinary festivities like the octopus festival or the artichoke festival.

Benicarlo is an excellent holiday destination.
