Maison Blanche is located on a hilltop of the Silves countryside, one of Portugal's oldest historical towns, dating back to the Palaeolithic times.

Surrounded by orange groves, this property has spectacular views of the town's castle, at the end of the valley, which is particularly special to witness at sunset.

The spacious house offers room for up to ten people. This property has a living, dining and cooking area, as well as two suites and three double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. On sunny days, the terrace with its unique outdoor kitchen, becomes an extension of the living room, providing Maison Blanche with the perfect outdoor reception for families and friends to enjoy. The house, dating back to the 1990's, was completely renovated in2017 with a contemporary design. Its simple, yet spectacular modern lines, perfectly blend in with the outstanding natural green and gold scenic backdrop. Two separate buildings, one of them L-shaped, frame the terrace with a (heated) pool on three sides. The white of the outer facades is also reflected indoors. Large windows, high ceilings, connected rooms and minimalist furnishing in an elegant and timeless design, create an airy and light ambiance.

It is easy to spend the whole day outside, dreaming in a deck chair, cooling off in the pool, sipping cocktails in the lounge corner and cooking under the open sky, whilst you enjoy the sunsets and starry skies.

The house offers plenty of space for common activities, as well as sufficient room for privacy, which makes it the perfect get away from it all. Guests have the whole villa and the garden to themselves and can enjoy exceptional calm and privacy. Property check in is easily made through a modern lock box system, allowing guests to arrive as late as their flights welcome them to Portugal.

There are bountiful areas to explore nearby and many activities to enjoy. Silves, with its old town, historical castle and 12th-century cathedral, shops and restaurants, is only 7 minutes away. Two of Portugal's best golf courses (Amendoeira Golf Resort and Quinta do Lago) as well as some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches, are also within easy reach. Hikers will enjoy an excursion to the spa resort Monchique: located at 485 metres, it is the highest point of the Algarve, offering spectacular views of the region.
